What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember things between visits — like which language you prefer, or which pages are most useful to other visitors. Similar technologies (pixels, local storage, session storage) work the same way. This policy uses "cookies" to cover all of them.
How we use them
We keep cookies to a minimum on this site. You'll encounter three broad categories:
Strictly necessary
These make the site work. They remember your locale (English or Portuguese), your consent choice for non-essential cookies, and keep any form you're filling in from being lost if you navigate away. You can't turn these off without breaking the site.
Functional
These remember small preferences — for example, if you've dismissed a banner or selected a default location to call. They're only set if you've accepted them.
Analytics
These help us understand, in aggregate, which pages people find useful and where the site is confusing. Counts, not identities. We don't use analytics cookies to build advertising profiles. They're only set if you've accepted them.
We don't currently run advertising cookies, third-party ad trackers, or cross-site behavioral tracking on this site.
Your choices
The first time you visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your mind later using the cookie settings link in our footer.
You can also manage cookies in your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking all cookies will break the locale switcher and form persistence; blocking only analytics is fine.
Do Not Track
Most browsers send a Do Not Track signal. Because the signal isn't standardized, we honor it the same way we honor a "decline" on our banner: no analytics cookies are set.
Updates
If the cookies we use change, we'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will also trigger the consent banner again so you can make a fresh choice.
