Tattoo and micropigmentation removal with progressive laser sessions.
Regret is one of the most common feelings people bring into our clinic — a tattoo from the past, a micropigmentation treatment that didn't go as planned, or pigmentation that just won't fade. Our advanced laser removal technology targets pigment precisely, progressively lightening or fully removing what no longer belongs on your skin.

What to expect
- Your provider evaluates the tattoo or micropigmentation — ink type, color, depth, age, and skin tone — to estimate the number of sessions needed and set realistic expectations.
- A small area of ink is tested in a first session to assess how your skin and the pigment respond to the laser. This ensures optimal settings and minimizes risk of adverse reactions.
- A high-intensity laser passes over the tattooed area in short pulses, breaking down pigment particles so your immune system can flush them away. Sessions typically take 20–45 minutes depending on size.
- The treated area will be bandaged and require careful wound care for a few days. You'll receive written aftercare instructions including sun avoidance, moisturizing, and signs of normal healing.
- Most tattoos require 6–12 sessions spaced 6–8 weeks apart. Results are progressive — each session lightens the ink further. Full removal is achievable for many tattoos; lighter-than-visible results are possible for all.

Common questions
- Most tattoo colors respond well to laser removal, but some are more challenging than others. Black and dark blue inks are the most responsive. Red, orange, yellow, and green pigments require specific laser wavelengths and may need additional sessions. White ink and some cosmetic pigments can paradoxically darken before they lighten — your provider will discuss this at your patch test session. We'll give you an honest assessment of what's achievable for your specific ink before you commit to a full program.
- Most tattoos require 6–12 sessions for significant fading or complete removal. Factors include ink density, color, depth, age of the tattoo, your immune system's efficiency, and skin tone. Amateur tattoos often clear faster than professional ones. Sessions are spaced 6–8 weeks apart to allow your immune system to flush the broken-down pigment. Your provider will estimate a range at your consultation and adjust expectations as results progress.
- Scarring is rare when laser removal is performed correctly by trained providers with appropriate equipment. The most common side effects are temporary redness, swelling, blistering, and changes in skin texture that resolve with proper aftercare. Following your post-treatment care instructions carefully — especially keeping the area clean, protected from sun, and avoiding picking — significantly reduces risk. If a pre-existing scar exists under the tattoo, this will be discussed at your consultation.
- Tattoo removal laser is typically more intense than tattoo application — described by most patients as a rapid snapping sensation with significant heat. Numbing cream can be applied before treatment to reduce discomfort. Sensitive areas, heavily saturated ink, and certain colors tend to be more intense. The sensation decreases as the ink fades over subsequent sessions. We always have a patient-comfort conversation before starting, and our team adjusts treatment parameters to keep your experience as comfortable as possible.
